AUTOANALYSIS
Now I begin the autonomous task of discovering why these “visions” have occurred during the lifetime of this particular avatar frame of reference, or, me, maggie huffman. a recent Face Book post gives me a jumping off point. I don’t know yet what Muse voice will accompany my effort, if any. I can say this much; I live life with passion, anguish, errors, small victories. There is no ritual, meditation… (disclaimer- prayer counts-); no subscribing to isms, New Age, etc. Religious discipline as applied in everyday life, yes, with strong intent and desire to live as a Christ would have wished of one who pledged fealty in my first life segment. If there is one trait I could recommend for the inner trekker, it would be flexibility of thought.
(since this is a work in progress, I will “scribe” as moved by the Muse or an inspiration).
at a certain point in my life, I made a 180 degree turn from the familiar path I was trekking. it was a major upheaval. sparing the details, I must admit to an attitude of defiance…a rejection of the previous pathway and determination to discover a new “way to Be”.
INNER JOURNEY
1. calcinations – burning the lower ego’s control
2. dissolution – emotions are valued without ego interference
3. separation – cutting ties with harmful people
4. conjunction – aligning with your soul’s purpose
5. fermentation/putrefaction – being exposed to the dark side of your personality without self-criticism
6. distillation – becoming more interested in the greater good of humanity
7. coagulation – where true wholeness/holiness is revealed
Alchemists distinguished two kinds of calcination, actual and potential. Actual calcination is that brought about by actual fire, from wood, coals, or other fuel, raised to a certain temperature. Potential calcination is that brought about by potential fire, such as corrosive chemicals; for example, gold was calcined in a reverberatory furnace with mercury and sal ammoniac; silver with common salt and alkali salt; copper with salt and sulfur; iron with sal ammoniac and vinegar; tin with antimony; lead with sulfur; and mercury with aqua fortis.[3]
*****There was also philosophical calcination, which was said to occur when horns, hooves, etc., were hung over boiling water, or other liquor, until they had lost their mucilage, and were easily reducible into powder.[3]

FLY FANCY
I'd like a Cosmic Travel Guide to map me out a tour;
then I'd trip out on galaxies and planets, one by one.
With souvenirs that I'd bring back, I'd build myself New Skin
and set me up a Shining Place and throw big parties there.
I'd play charades in Outer Space and drive the mortals mad
with visions they could look and see.
I'd be all I could ever be and learning to be more!
There's nothing, then, I couldn't do....where Big Dogs run you'd find me....
raisin' hell on Jupiter or sluggin' back some Venus wine or pettin' pups on Pluto!
Those of you who know me now would never recognize me unless I want you to.
The mongers and intolerants, corrallers of the mavericks,
won't have the energy it takes to clean my Cosmic Boots!!
My chaparral would be so high you'd think it never ends!
No lasso made could ever reach my Stellar Steed and me
'cause we'd be trottin' fast and far and chompin' star dust on our way!
Many of you think my human being's not so hot and
lots of you feel threatened by my inner Knowing strength.
A few of you would like to tame my mortal arrogance
that you perceive as out of place in one so plain and low.
You think my fancy Fantasies audacious in their scope
and some have tried to rope me in and tame me for themselves.
Well, I've got news, my pompous "friends",
you mongers of False Karma;
to those put off by what is called my "bad ass attitude"....
and you can take this shocking news and spread it far and wide and shove it
where the sun don't shine, then run away and hide....
I NEVER WILL APOLOGIZE FOR KNOWING WHAT I KNOW.
I NEVER WILL GIVE UP MY GROUND ON BEING WHAT I AM.
If you don't like my attitude or flights of fancy free and think your selves
above MY Self, I've got this much to say....it only proves you shouldn't think
that you can really think and if you "think" that you're so hot and IF you've got
the brass....then you may eat my Galactic Shit and kiss my Royal Ass!!!
The only harm I do to you is what you conjure up.
The only threats are in your small and constipated brains.
So, hey! Don't sweat it! Could be I'm onto something.
I'm more than glad to share the space
with free and Soaring Souls.
So try it. You might like it.
Don't be afraid to fly!
And make it fancy while you're at it.

Coming to terms with the dark side is something I am struggling to do. I find that I kinda like certain aspects of the dark side, particularly when I believe that side of me is helping to ease the suffering of others.
ReplyDeletefor instance, what's wrong with flirting? Who cares who's married, as long as you're discreet and respectful, that is.
But I beat up on myself when I fall in love with someone I have flirted with. It passes as quickly as one day passes into another. It is my curse to always be seeking love in another person when I already have the Greatest Love of my Life, the Almighty Creator.
I don't mind sharing this Creator of Mine, just as long as you're both discreet about it!
