is that all there is? nope!

5/30/2013
with renewed interest, I can pursue another thought landscape for analyzing my inner journey. primarily, I had to turn away from previous paths and venture into unknown, to me, territory. I found a playground filled with all cultures, religions, movements, etc. ever known to mankind. many were certainly alien to my conscious being but I was able to surf through unscathed. in the long run, all these differences are mere folly, but the mortal entity blithely pursues. it’s all part of our process. we should glean the worthy tenets from every area and adapt them to our everyday existence.
my life path apparently offered opportunities for inner disciplines on a par with a devout monk, pastor or any such pious personage. my options were varied but I believe the path I chose was the right one to achieve a goal. I think the drive to do so was stronger than ego. I chose parents who would steer my upbringing in the correct direction. I’ve endured intense hardships. I’ve done the things required though difficult and sometimes gut-wrenching. my personality provided innate talents which I utilized for the enjoyment of others and myself, and grateful for them. I’m as imperfect as any of my planet mates but I’ve been self-motivated to do better.
so, for the past nineteen years, I’ve been trekking the inner dimensions of me. as I think back I have to believe and admit that it started with the advent of the birth of this personality expression; so seventy years, soon to be the launching of my seventy second . I know now that I’ve made it possible for everyone to reach the highest level of enlightenment merely by applying attention to certain positive traits. I don’t need to tell you what they are;  the information has been there for thousands of years. use common sense and the glorious imagination we all have. just try to do what’s right and appropriate and socially acceptable. if you need guidelines, try these:

     INNER  JOURNEY
1.     calcinations – burning the lower ego’s control
2.     dissolution – emotions are valued without ego interference
3.     separation – cutting ties with harmful people
4.     conjunction – aligning with your soul’s purpose
5.     fermentation/putrefaction – being exposed to the dark side of your personality without self-criticism
6.     distillation – becoming more interested in the greater good of humanity
7.     coagulation – where true wholeness/holiness is revealed

here’s a little ditty to lighten the mood

Too Much
Maybe it’s Maybelline
Maybe it’s not, I scream.
Moroccan my noggin
While I will be bloggin’
And gorgin’ pistachio ice cream!
Plasticize the wrinkles out
I don’t care if I get gout
Diet till I puke and shout
Someone get the demons out!
Oh, never mind…just a fart. S’cuse me
